Brilliant Moon (2010), a feature documentary about the Nyingma master Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, published in full by its distributor, Kino Lorber.

Brilliant Moon is a documentary on the life of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, told largely in order. Narration over archive footage opens with his flight from Tibet in 1959 and arrival in Bhutan, then goes back to his birth in eastern Tibet in 1910, ordination as a boy, teachers such as Shechen Gyaltsab, his recognition as an incarnation of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, and years in retreat. It follows his teaching in Bhutan, India and Nepal, his non-sectarian reception of teachings, his travels to Europe and North America from 1976, and visits to Tibet from 1985 to restore monasteries. Students and family members speak about him on camera. The film closes with his death, the cremation and the recognition of his yangsi, born in 1993.
