Wat Suan Santidham, “the garden of peaceful Dhamma”, is a forest monastery on a sloped hillside in Nong Kham subdistrict, Si Racha, in Chonburi province. Luang Pu Pramote Pamojjo has lived here since his sixth rains retreat, and guides the resident monks, visiting monks and a large lay community from here.
The monastery is mainly a place to hear Dhamma and to practise on the grounds. Its own FAQ says the public can come in during the day, listen to the Saturday and Sunday morning talks, and practise walking meditation around the chapel and sitting meditation on the cloister behind it. The site asks visitors to come to learn practice by the four foundations of mindfulness, in particular by watching the mind. Seats in the Dhamma Hall are booked through an online system run by the foundation that distributes his teaching, and some places are left for walk-ins. People who do not book can listen from outside. Talks can also be heard live online.
Talks are in Thai. For people who do not speak Thai, the FAQ says English interpretation by headset is available for those seated in the Dhamma Hall on teaching days, with limited seats and headsets, and asks you to arrange it beforehand through the contact page.
The monastery says it has never organised courses and does not accept visiting monks to stay. It also has no preceptor for ordination. The FAQ adds that most courses are run independently by outside groups and do not involve staying at the monastery.
Free vans from Bangkok to the monastery on talk days are arranged by his lay supporters; the Thai page of dhamma.com points to the details.
Visiting
The monastery is for hearing Dhamma talks and practising on the grounds, not for staying. Dress modestly, in loose clothing with sleeves and below the knee. White is not required. Pets are not allowed. Talks are in Thai; English interpretation by headset in the Dhamma Hall is arranged in advance through the contact page on dhamma.com. Read the FAQ before going, because the arrangements change.
