Part 6 of 6 · The Four Seals of Dharma
Sixth session of Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche's series on the four seals: practice from waking to sleep, pure realms and lasting peace, published by DharmaSun.
Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche begins with prostrations and the mandala offering, then says practice runs from waking to sleeping and starts with avoiding harm and engaging in virtue, the ground for shamatha and vipashyana. He explains karma as natural law and lists the causes of rebirth in a pure realm, including generosity without expectation, the six perfections, love, compassion, bodhichitta and dedication, and tells listeners to recite prayers for Amitabha’s pure realm, giving the opening of one.
He closes the series with peace as freedom from the disturbing emotions, the need to leave samsara altogether, recognising wakefulness, and practising in solitude.
