Part 4 of 13 · Sixty Stanzas on Reasoning, Kathmandu

The aggregates and the self as a label, selfless compassion, and the twelve links, ending with questions.

Rinpoche takes up the five aggregates and the self. He calls clinging to a self the root of not seeing the truth, describes the self as a label placed on the aggregates, and says a truly existing self brings a retinue of mine and my. He answers who feels compassion if there is no self, argues that the aggregates themselves are not truly existent, and asks whether a path can have a goal that is reached. A grape walks through the twelve links of dependent origination. The last eight minutes are audience questions, translated, on compassion, who awakens, sadness at impermanence and the smallest particles.
